Other Ceremonies
Renewal Of Vows
A Renewal of Vows is a wonderful way to celebrate your journey through marriage as you renew the promises you made to one another on that significant occasion and acknowledge your love for each other. A Renewal Ceremony or Re-affirmation of Vows can be held at any time during your marriage.
It would be an honour and delight to assist you as we design a warm and meaningful Renewal of Vows Ceremony as you renew the bonds of love and devotion within your marriage.
Renewal Of Vows
I specialise in creating intimate, unique and personalised ceremonies.
I have resources to assist you as together we design a ceremony that is personal and intimate – a celebration of your unique love story and the love you have for each other.
The following is a step-by-step description of how I go about assisting couples during the planning for their Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
At our first meeting I will share with you my extensive resources which you will take with you as we start the happy planning of your Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
To secure your booking I will require a non-refundable deposit of $250 at this time.
I usually only take one booking per day as a well thought through and planned ceremony is very important to me. Your ceremony will have my total focus. You will receive my full attention on your Renewal of Vows day as I will not be rushing from one ceremony to another.
It is now the exciting time to discuss the special things you would like to enable your ceremony to be personal and uniquely yours.
My aim is to make this enjoyable, easy and stress free for you.
You will have the choice between 10 Renewal of Vows Ceremonies including ‘Exchanging of Vows’ and ‘Ring Ceremonies’. These ceremonies can be mixed and matched enabling your choices to be your own personal ceremony.
I have a Questionnaire which I email to you, the answers of which I can incorporate into your ceremony adding to make your ceremony full of warmth and feeling along with being personal and unique.
You have a choice of a wide range of Readings and Poems along with special Rituals and Blessings.
In the weeks leading up to your ceremony we will chat about ideas over the telephone and email drafts of your ceremony as we work through your choices, as we bring together your wishes that will enable your day to be joyous and a happy memory to treasure.
During the entire time of preparation for your ceremony you will have open-ended availability and access to my services as well as meeting together as many times as you wish.
I offer a rehearsal prior to your Renewal of Vows day if you wish to have one.
A balance of my fee will be required one week prior to your Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
On the day I will arrive 3/4 hour before your ceremony commences and set up my PA system. I will have time with you before the ceremony begins.
I will then gently guide you through the whole ceremony so you can relax and enjoy the joyous celebration of your love for each other as you renew your marriage vows.
At the conclusion of the ceremony you will be presented with a beautifully prepared Renewal of Vows Certificate along with a professionally printed presentation copy of your Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
If others are included in your ceremony they will receive Certificates of Honour.
It is my joy to provide the same level of service as for a marriage ceremony except without the legal requirements and documentation.
My fee for presenting a Renewal of Vows ceremony is $650.
I would be delighted to assist you further. You can contact me on 0418 986 062 or via my CONTACT form.

Baby Naming
Naming ceremonies are very special and personal occasions and a joyous way to welcome your child as your family and friends gather to offer their best wishes.
It will be my joy and delight to create for you a ceremony which recognises your love, hopes and wishes for your child and other children in your family if they are to be included. I have had the honour of officiating at many Naming Ceremonies and Christian Blessings and Dedication Ceremonies. It is a wonderful time for a deepening of family relationships and a time for nurturing love and togetherness.
Baby Naming
I have a selection of Naming Ceremonies which I have designed and which can be mixed and matched enabling your choices to be personal adding to bring a unique, loving, and warm aspect to your child’s ceremony. I have a questionnaire which I email to you, the answers of which I can incorporate into your ceremony. You also have a selection of poems.
You may wish to use further ideas to commemorate your child’s Naming Day such as:
- Balloon release with hopes and wishes inside
- Butterfly release to signify new life
- Symbolic gifts as keepsakes or passing on of family jewellery
- Rose petal ceremony
- Message book/message box for guests to write messages for the child to read when he or she is older
- Hand/foot print
- Photos of relatives who cannot attend
- Ceremonial candle
- Time capsule
- Tree planting
- Wishes and thoughts blanket or pillowcase
- Wishing bear/wishing well
- Video recording – guests saying something special for child
- Naming of a star through the International Star Registry
I will guide you through the planning stages of your ceremony as we email draft copies and speak personally as drafts are edited until your ceremony is complete and one that you will cherish.
A Naming Certificate will be presented to your child along with Presentation Certificates to your child’s Godparents or Guardians. Additional certificates can be organised to give to those you may wish to acknowledge such as Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts.
A beautifully presented copy of your ceremony is my gift to you as a keep-sake of your child’s special occasion.
Although there is no set ritual, most Naming Ceremonies will take between 20 and 30 minutes. The following is an outline of a Naming Ceremony:
- Introduction and welcome by the celebrant
- Acknowledgement of grandparents or special people in the child’s life
- Recognition of any siblings and their inclusion in the ceremony
- Naming of child by parents and perhaps an explanation of why the name/names have been chosen – special promises to the child are included here

MY LIFE HAS BEEN ENRICHED BY THE
FAMILIES I HAVE MET AS I HAVE CONDUCTED
NAMING CEREMONIES – HERE ARE A FEW
TESTIMONIALS FROM FAMILIES
Dear Sandra – Thank you so much for performing a most beautiful Naming Ceremony for our daughter, Lucy. It was such a special day, made all the more special for your care and attention in our first meeting, in the lead-up, and of course on the day itself. Many people commented on what a lovely celebrant you were! We could not agree more!
I have enclosed your feedback sheet which I hope you will use to let others know how delighted we were having you as our celebrant –
We were very happy with the service provided. Sandra was incredibly friendly and helpful. She could not do enough for us. The whole process was easy – Sandra replying to our first email very promptly, the booklet of readings, other suggestions by Sandra, the actual day, payment – everything.
Sandra took notes and there was email confirmation. Sandra listened very attentively to our ideas and wishes. She made useful suggestions. Sandra’s folder of ideas and readings/poems was excellent and very thorough. The service was very professional. Sandra read very beautifully and clearly. The Naming Certificate and copy of the whole ceremony was lovely, as was the special guardian angel gift for our baby.
We felt valued – our family, our baby, our ideas, our requests. Sandra gave us personal service. She only performs one ceremony a day which made us feel even more important and that we were not rushed (very important where children are involved!) She was always available to help (including trying to soothe a screaming baby).
Sandra never took over, but just gently guided and helped us. We were free and comfortable to be ourselves.
With our warmest regards, Helen, Sharif, Jai and Lucy
We were extremely impressed with Sandra’s service as our celebrant for our son’s Naming and Blessing Ceremony. All my enquires where given prompt feedback. Sandra quickly became like a family member and fitted into my family and friends with ease.
Sandra’s friendly nature made me feel comfortable in knowing we had chosen the right person to conduct Slater’s Christening on the occasion of his 1st birthday.
I look forward to sharing all of Slater’s milestones with his new Nanna Sandra.
Love – Lisa, Health and Slater Symons
Sandra is a wonderful, kind-hearted and caring celebrant who made us feel like the day wasn’t only special to us but to her as well. Everyone commented on how beautiful and personal the ceremony was. The ceremony was everything we could have wanted and everything we asked for was included. It was designed with such care and thought for us and our needs. I would 100% recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a celebrant and would invite her again for other ceremonies for our family.

We will highly recommend you to our families and friends.
With our thanks and warm wishes – Andrea & Glen
Hi Sandra – Thank you again for your lovely service at Aaliyah’s Naming Day Ceremony. You helped to make our daughter’s naming day a beautiful celebration. As the day incorporated close friends and family in welcoming Aaliyah into our family it enabled the ceremony to be an intimate and joyous occasion.
Thank you for being very helpful and accommodating to our wishes. We were able to choose content for our ceremony and who was to take part. You were well prepared and considerate and enabled Aaliyah’s naming day to be very special. Sandra, thank you for helping us to make such beautiful memories.
I would have no doubt in recommending Sandra to others seeking a naming day celebrant.

Dear Sandra, we were very happy with Miley’s Naming and Blessing Ceremony. Miley was blessed by a lovely lady and all our guests commented on what a great ceremony it was for Miley. If we have anymore children we would go with you again from start to finish. It was exactly what we wanted and the best thing is that our baby girl is blessed. So thank you very much.

Funerals
As a funeral celebrant it has been a great honour to assist families as I seek to provide respectful and compassionate support, empathy and understanding during this very difficult time of loss and grief.
I have had the privilege of working in the funeral industry for a number of years and my aim is to design a service that is completely personal, incorporating those unique stories, songs and experiences that defined the loved one – a fitting and honouring tribute – a celebration of life.
The essence of the service will be based upon the remembrances of the family, and family and friends are encouraged to participate as they relate stories and events if they feel able to do so.
Funerals
Scheduling a special ‘Family Time’ meeting where the family can share memories, anecdotes, defining moments in the loved one’s life is the first step in bringing the service together.
At this meeting I will help you select different parts of the service that reflect your loved one and assist you in writing the Eulogy or if requested write it myself from notes taken during our meeting together.
I have an extensive library of readings, music and personal tributes that can assist you in choosing what is honouring and appropriate for the person.
During the few days of preparation for the service I assist you with care and understanding in a sensitive and compassionate manner as we bring together your wishes which will enable the service to be one that reflects, honours and celebrates the life of the person.
I arrive at least 30 minutes before the service commences.
A presentation copy of the service is my gift in honour of the person along with a thank-you note for the honour of conducting the service and offering my continuing support if needed.
At all times I act with confidentiality and dress in a dignified and professional manner.
If I can further support and assist you please contact me today on 0418 986 062 or via my (click) CONTACT form.
I SHARE A FEW FUNERAL TESTIMONIALS IN
LOVING MEMORY OF THOSE I HAVE HAD THE
PRIVILEGE OF HONOURING ON BEHALF OF
THEIR FAMILIES
Hello Sandra,
The Bonney family would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a beautiful service you provided yesterday to our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ivy. We were overwhelmed by your caring and compassion that showed through from our first meeting.
This was obviously evident to many who attended as well, as we received numerous comments on the warm, heartfelt and beautiful service from friends and relatives.
Once again Sincere Thanks.
Kind Regards,
Geoff Bonney
Hi Sandra – As everyone has gone back now and I have got time to sit and reflect on yesterday, it gives me such a warm feeling to know that Mum would have loved every minute of her service. A big part of this we owe to you Sandra. We feel so blessed that you came into our lives at this trying time and just helped everything fall into place. Your service was wonderful and everyone that attended thought the same. Not only how professional you were in everything you did but your empathy and your kindness that was felt by all. Thank you Sandra so much for everything. Robyn, Clayton and I are very grateful and wish you all the best.
Kind Regards Angela
Hi Sandra – I would just like to say many thanks for your support at Connie’s funeral. The service went smoothly and was a beautiful tribute and farewell for us all. Your assistance was greatly appreciated, as were your beautifully crafted and spoken words. You did your role gracefully and with reverence, making the day easier for Michael and everyone else in attendance. I would strongly recommend you to anyone seeking a celebrant.
Kind regards, Bree
Hi Sandra – Thank you again for a wonderful day Sunday presenting mum and dad’s memorial service.
You were so personable and still very professional. Your setup and equipment was the best for the situation and occasion – especially the ability to have the microphone on the pontoon.
Every person there has sent me a message – “Loved the day and especially the beautiful celebrant.”
I hope one day we will have you again at a family service – perhaps a wedding??!!
Warmest wishes of thanks – Cheryl Williamson
Dear Sandra – We were blessed to have crossed paths with you. Our mum Elizabeth’s celebration of Life Service was absolutely beautiful and your time, effort, love and warmth are very much appreciated.
With warm wishes and blessings, Julie, Pip and Scott
Dear Sandra – I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for the service you conducted for our much loved Norma. From the moment I met you, I knew that you were the person I wanted to conduct mum’s service. Mum would never discuss with us what her funeral wishes were, so it was left to Ian and I to decide what we thought would be most fitting. With your help and guidance, I know that we achieved a service that mum would have wanted. Several people commented on the service, the music and in particular, the celebrant. Your gentle manner made a very difficult day somewhat easier to endure. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you.
Kind regards, Lynne and family
Dear Sandra – I decided to write to you on behalf of myself and my family. Collectively we as a family sincerely thank you for the very meaningful funeral service you conducted for our dear mum, Mum-in-Law, Nan and Great Grandmother. My family and extended family were very impressed with the way you delivered the entire service. I hope you will be available for many years to come. Sandra my personal note to you – our connection was instantaneously upon our first meeting and I knew you were the right celebrant for mum’s service. You have a most beautiful gift in being able to sense and feel what is right for the grieving family and the loved one that has passed away. I pray our paths will cross again Sandra, under much happier circumstances.
Love and best wishes, Elaine
Dear Sandra – How can we thank you enough for your kindness. You have a heart of gold and the caring you showed to us was wonderful. Many, many people commented on how lovely the service was and that was made possible through your special gift and through the time you allowed us.
With love and many thanks, Brad, Wendy and Megan
Dear Sandra –Thank you so very much for the beautiful book of poems and the very compassionate service you conducted for mum which made a very sad and difficult time for us so much easier.
Thank you Sandra most sincerely, Gail
Dear Sandra – Thank you so much for the wonderful way in which you conducted the service for the funeral of our wife/mother, Carol. The Eulogy you wrote made it sound as if you knew her, and your care and compassion were greatly appreciated at this difficult time.
Thank you again, and best wishes – Michael and family
Dear Sandra – I want to thank you for the lovely card you sent to myself and family. Also sincere thanks to you for the time you spent with us before the passing of Don, along with your patience and understanding. You were a tower of strength to us all. Also thank you for the beautiful service and for giving us such lovely memories to cherish forever.
My best regards, Corrie and family
Dear Sandra – thank you very much for the wonderful service you performed for mum’s family and friends last week. A number of the people attending did make comment on what a great service it was and Teresa and I really appreciated the time you spent with us to know mum.
Warmest thanks – Teresa & Andrew Doherty
Dear Sandra – Thank you for the lovely service for Stan. We feel that we were most fortunate to have met you.
Yours truly, Nancy
Thank you, Sandra, for your kindness and caring at Keith’s passing. His service was all that I wanted it to be. My family also pass on their thanks for everything.

Dear Sandra – I am writing on behalf of my parents and myself to let you know that we felt your contribution to the celebration of John’s life was excellent.
Kind regards, Walter
Dear Sandra
Thank you so much for the wonderful way you conducted the service for my beloved Michael on Wednesday, 6th January. With the gathering that we had to farewell Michael, it was interesting to hear everyone’s comments about the service, and in no small part because of you.
Sandra you found the correct words and seemed to know and understand the sort of man Michael was and you portrayed that beautifully at the service. Thank you for your keen understanding.
Sincerely with my thanks – Narelle MacLennan
